Residential Small Renewable Electrical Generation Systems Rebate

Funding for this rebate program is currently available.  The PUC will accept new applications from applicants who submit conforming Step 1 Pre-Approval Applications.  After the PUC’s approval of the Step 2 Form payment of the rebate will be made.

This program offers rebates to qualifying homeowners who install photovoltaic (PV) or wind turbine electrical generation systems 10kW or smaller.  Rebate levels are $.75 per watt of panel rated power up to $3,750, or 50% of the total facility cost, whichever is less. On October 3, those rebates will decline to $.50 per watt or 30% of the total facility cost whichever is less with a maximum of $2500.
