The Commission is actively seeking amendments to Commission procedural rules, N.H. Admin Rules Puc 200, to clarify the recordings process for hearings and the requirements for both remote participation and remote observation. Proceedings before the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (Commission) are open to the public to observe in person at our offices in Concord, N.H. Pursuant to RSA 541-A:31, VII the Commission records these proceedings. Our recording system, Cisco Webex, has the capacity to allow individuals to observe the proceedings remotely.
Any person wishing to observe a hearing remotely shall contact the commission’s Clerk’s Office here and request the remote access information link. All requests shall be in writing and preferably with at least 2 business days advance notice. If confidential information pursuant to N.H. Admin. Rule Puc 203.08 is discussed during the hearing, online observers will be removed from the hearing and only allowed to re-enter after the confidential discussion has been completed.
Remote Participation in a proceeding requires participants to seek prior approval consistent with the Commission’s administrative rules and hearing guidelines.
