Telecommunications Carriers Registered in New Hampshire
June 10, 2014

Under New Hampshire law and rules, only those telecommunications carriers offering traditional (rather than VoIP or IP-enabled) voice service to end-users must be authorized as New Hampshire public utilities.  A list of authorized telephone utilities is available here.

The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) provides an optional registration process for telecommunications carriers that are not public utilities, which may be useful to some carriers in pursuing agreements with third parties (for example, interconnection agreements or pole attachment agreements.)   The following table lists those companies that are currently registered as telecommunications carriers in New Hampshire.
